Policeman and his police dog on a motorcycle in Bulgaria in the summer of 2010. This film got lost somehow in my film boxes because I forgot to mark it after exposing it in 2010. I found these pictures after I exposed the film again with a pinhole. Nice surprise !
No matter how bad the urban space looks , you can always make some good money out of it. Or at least this is the general impression here in Bucharest. I wonder for how long will this mess last?
This is a place I really like to photograph. It is the only building in Bucharest that I know that has a python head as a decoration for it’s first floor window. And the old sign on the wall is the advert for an old leather shop named “Pitonul” ( Romanian of python ). A few weeks ago the place got a makeover. This is how it used to look:
This is the gate to a very small rose garden next to the wall of the Anglican Church in Bucharest. I got very amused by the fact that somebody thought of putting a lock on a gate that is 90 cm tall. A few days ago i was walking again pass the little gate , looking for the lock , when i noticed that it was replaced by a much bigger one! :)) Why do these people even bother?
There was a time when i thought of making a series with abandoned chairs in Bucharest. They were turning up everywhere and they were all shapes and sizes , so at a point the series just stopped looking logical any more , so i left it behind .
But out of all the chairs i saw and photographed , the stools were my favourite. Here’s another one of them.
I might be starting the series all over again , but this time , i think i’ll be focusing just on stools :P
