A few days ago I went to visit this amazing ruined church in Frunzanesti , outside Bucharest.
The legend says that the boyar who built the church , dreamt the night before the sanctification of the place that if mass was ever to take place in his church all of his sons will die. Thus , the boyar canceled the sanctification and it all fell into ruin.
The entrance tower collapsed at one point , so today , the church is literally broken into two pieces. The boyar family grave still stands in front of the church , but unfortunately it is badly desecrated.
